TCIA’s "Uncle Peter" Gerstenberger wants YOU to attend our Legislative Day on the Hill ...in Washington, D.C., happening September 15–16, 2025! This is your opportunity to engage directly with lawmakers, advocate for the tree care industry, and learn how federal policies affect your business and workforce. Attendees will receive educational briefings on key policy issues and best practices for advocacy. We’ll be focusing on crucial topics like OSHA’s Tree Care Operations Rulemaking, wildfire mitigation, and workforce development—including improvements to the H-2B visa program.

TCIA’s Board of Directors plays a ...vital role in advancing our mission to support and grow successful tree care businesses through connections, training, and resources. As strategic leaders and stewards of the industry, Board members commit to upholding core values—being committed, team-oriented, open-minded, strategic, and stewards of the industry. With a three-year term, members participate in key meetings throughout the year, advocate for TCIA’s mission, and help guide the association's direction. Travel and event registration expenses are covered, and directors are invited to attend special training and orientation sessions. It’s a meaningful opportunity to lead, collaborate, and give back to the tree care community.

Applications are due by July 15th. We are not accepting applications from corporate members at this time.

Running a business is no easy task. The effort it takes to run a business, and the level of ...investment, varies widely between small, medium and large companies. Regardless of the company size, efficient and safe job completion is a priority.
